late lunch.


How is it 5:30 already?!?  Today flew by!!  Not that I’m complaining since I now only have to work six more days until my holiday break.  Not that I’m counting.

So, after the frustration/disappointment of almost losing my iPod and then not getting to go to yoga last night, I was more than happy to curl up with a Glee double header and a bowl of popcorn.

Happiness restored.

I had a couple errands to run before work, so I threw together a quick breakfast.  I’m super proud of myself for still eating at home and making it something healthy despite having things to do.  Bigger and better habits are in being formed!  My yogurt mess had vanilla Chobani, rolled oats, blackberries, and a drizzle of honey.


It was such a crazy day that I didn’t get to my lunch until almost 2 in the afternoon!  Far too late for my liking!  Fortunately, breakfast stuck with me the whole time.  I was surprisingly not too hungry once I finally got to eat.

It was an eat what I have lying around the office kind of day.  I had an apple with honey roasted cinnamon peanut butter, then heated up a bag of Green Giant potatoes and green beans.  Random, but it worked.

And, what’s life without something sweet?  Simply not a life I want, I know that much for sure!  I had a quarter piece of a gigantic chocolate chip cookie and a couple Hershey’s kisses.

Tonight is my last youth group of the year!  We don’t meet for the next two weeks!  I love my girls, but it’ll be nice to have a bit of a break! I’m off to go find some dinner and head out to the church!
