lazy days.

The perk of sleeping in and a lazy morning?  About an hour after breakfast, it was time for lunch!  Nicki made grilled cheese sandwiches (with ham for everyone else) and some chips and dip on the side.  With Cabot sharp cheddar cheese and a French miche bread it was a high class sandwich!

The rest of the afternoon was quite lazy.  I spent a lot of time reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest (the third book in the Stieg Larsson trilogy).  Quite possibly the most activity I had was moving from the couch to the bed and back to the couch.  Oh, and getting in a shower.  That’s been about it.

Mom and the dogs have been equally as productive.

After an afternoon of lying around, naturally the thing to do is…eat!

Dinner was primarily leftovers.  I had some squash, green bean casserole (!!!), and broccoli.

While the rest of the family ate chicken, I had some peanut butter on an English muffin.  I was craving some protein.

All this family time is wonderful.  I’ll be sad to go home tomorrow.
